Fiancial Aid

OfficeCalifornia community colleges are organized around several key ideas. One of them is to remove financial barriers to higher education by making tuition highly affordable. We're proud to be part of this success story.
And, we understand that the expense of education at a community college may still be beyond the means of some students. There are many forms of assistance available to students, including grants (funds the student does not need to repay) and loans (funds that the student is obligated to repay). In some cases, the student may qualify for a work-study program. Many of the loan opportunities are supported by Federal or State government programs. Some grants are funded by local scholarships, in some cases tied to a particular study discipline. StudentsIn planning your higher education, it is smart to consider all forms of assistance available to you. All of the student financial aid programs are administered by the individual colleges. You should contact staff in these offices to learn about the programs available to you and their eligibility requirements.
